WeRead App — Official Promo Price
The most common path: log into the WeRead app. During holidays (e.g., Spring Festival), there are promo prices around 168/188 CNY. You’ll need to wait for the event.
Xianyu (Idle Fish)
Search “WeRead” on Xianyu; you’ll find annual memberships. Prices fluctuate—recently 167 CNY, sometimes 138 CNY. You can also check PDD/Taobao; prices are similar.
Note: Xianyu can be messy. Only use options that directly recharge your own phone number. Safety first.
WeRead Mini Shop
Search “WeRead Mini Shop” in WeChat. Annual membership is currently 168 CNY consistently—no need to wait for promos.
Note: It’s an official shop, so no worries.
WeRead — Redeem with Trial Cards
Trial cards can be redeemed for cheaper membership—so remember to claim them daily.
Note: Trial card benefits differ from full membership.
WeRead App — 365-Day Reading Challenge
Pay 50 CNY to join. If you read for 360 days, you can redeem a full-year membership—effectively 50 CNY/year.

Final Thoughts
These are the cheapest options I know. Personally, I’ve used Xianyu direct-recharge before. Recently I joined the 365-day challenge, and I stack trial cards from daily rewards for occasional redemptions. Ideally, that means ~50 CNY/year. It’s hard to stick with—but worth trying.
